SUMMARY:Rainbow Birders: In Search of Indiana Owls
DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Birders! We are delighted to offer this unique Big Time Birding outing focusing on our Indiana owls! As it is birding\, there are no guarantees\, but we are going to known owl locations! And whether we see owls or not\, we will enjoy some great birding! This outing is comprised of three segments and participants can choose to do any one\, two\, or all three of them! \nThe morning of November 15\, we will visit Celery Bog Nature Area in West Lafayette. You do not need to register for this segment and it is free. \nIn the evening\, we will participate in the Indiana Audubon Society’s “Saw-whets & Smores” event at the Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary near Connorsville. Registration is required and there is a fee which depends on your level of participation. Although MGBS has a free rustic campground\, probably most of us will choose to individually pay to spend the night at a nearby hotel. Space is limited for this event so sign up as soon as you can! \nLastly on the morning of November 16\, we will visit Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis.
