- The Spencer Pride Festival is an admission-free rural LGBTQ+ pride festival that takes place on the courthouse square in downtown Spencer, Indiana. The Spencer Pride Festival is the largest rural LGBTQ+ pride event in Indiana. Spencer is the smallest town with such a large LGBTQ+ pride event in the Midwest! The Spencer Pride Festival takes place on the first Saturday in June each year. The Spencer Pride Festival is known for its family-focused & inclusive atmosphere, all in a small town setting. - There are countless volunteer opportunities as well. These are managed through our Volunteer Coordinator Judi Epp. She can be reached at Judi@SpencerPride.org. Opportunities include staffing our commUnity center, supporting our events through setup & cleanup, volunteering at our events, or helping us do the hundreds of things that need to be done to get our work accomplished.
