UPDATE IN RED

Each one of us has been touched by cancer in some way, so now is our time to make a difference by walking and raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.  This year, Spencer Pride Inc. will have our first-ever team at the Owen County Relay for Life Event, which will take place on May 17thand 18th at Owen Valley High School in Spencer.   Our 2013 team captain is Jacob Balash. At the event, the Spencer Pride Inc. team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, and one dollar at a time. The Spencer Pride Inc. team is doing our part to make sure that cancer never steals another year of anyone’s life.

Please join our team or make a donation today. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone!  You can make a donation or sign up to be on our team at the following link.  Every dollar makes a big difference to this worthy cause.  Please help us show that the LGBTQI community and its allies value this fundraising effort.

Not only have our individual members been contributing to this cause, but Spencer Pride Inc. has also made a generous donation as well.

The entire Spencer Pride organization would like to thank everyone who contributed to this year’s event.  The Spencer Pride team was able to raise more than $1000 for this worthy cause.  THANK YOU!
